Cheng Luo joins the group

 

Cheng Luo joined the CFEL-ATTO group in January 2026 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate for the Project “Capturing Attosecond-to-femtosecond Chiral Transients with Ultrafast Spectroscopy (CACTUS)”.

He is working on the CACTUS Project, led by Vincent Wanie, aiming at Capturing Attosecond-to-femtosecond Chiral Transients with Ultrafast Spectroscopy. Cheng conducts complementary experiments using both advanced tabletop laser sources and world-class FEL facilities to investigate the electronic and structural dynamics of complex systems via charged-particle detection. The work will include both optical andmolecular source development.
