Dr. Oliviero Cannelli has just started the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship under the HORIZON-MSCA-2022-PF-01 Action for his project, METRICS.

This fellowship supports high-impact, cross-disciplinary research, and Dr. Cannelli's work will be carried out in collaboration with leading institutions, including our CFEL-ATTO group, the FERMI free electron laser (Italy), and the pioneering laser company Class 5 (Hamburg, Germany).

Dr. Cannelli's research focuses on the development and application of cutting-edge element-selective impulsive X-ray spectroscopies using advanced attosecond and femtosecond sources. His work aims to deepen our understanding of iron-sulfur clusters, which play a crucial role in fundamental catalytic processes such as mitochondrial respiration, photosynthesis, and nitrogen fixation.

Warm congratulations to Dr. Oliviero Cannelli for this remarkable achievement!
