A national network for Italian scientists in Germany

On October 12th 2022 took place the inauguration of SIGN (for Scienziati Italiani in Germania Network), whose co-founders includes Francesca Calegari, leading scientist at DESY and Professor of Physics at Universität Hamburg and the Scientific Director at European XFEL Sakura Pascarelli.

SIGN acts as a platform to provide opportunities for knowledge transfer and professional networking as well as support and resources for Italian members of the German scientific community at varying career levels. It also provides a mean to favor exchange of ideas and information between researchers located in Germany and Italy.
