Research

My research interest focuses on the development of new investigation techniques using cutting-edge ultrafast X-ray sources, including tabletop setups and large-scale facilities (synchrotron and free electron lasers). I harness the element- and site-selectivity of X-ray spectroscopic methods to answer fundamental questions about thermally- and light-induced responses of molecular, biological and condensed matter system and their properties.
