Research
Laura performs time-resolved studies of electron dynamics in bio-chemically relevant molecules, which occur on ultrashort time scales. Her work comprises the generation of ultrashort ultraviolet (UV) pulses at high repetition rate by means of third harmonic generation driven by compressed IR pulses. The real time investigation of ultrashort dynamics is achieved by the realization of a UV-pump UV-probe setup.
