Gaia is currently developing a two-color attosecond Soft X beamline based on high-harmonic generation and driven by a carrier-envelope phase stable optical parametric amplifier in the MID-IR. The beamline will allow us to perform transient absorption spectroscopy experiments in the so-called "water window" Soft X-ray spectral range, combining the site-selectivity typical of X-rays with the possibility of performing measurements in the liquid phase. Regarding this latter point, she is also developing a liquid jet source that will allow us to track the ultrafast dynamics of biologically-relevant molecules in their physiological aqueous environment.
